The province of Milne Bay is the largest of the Maritime Provinces in Papua New Guinea which takes in around 600 islands. This includes the vast region of the Lousiades which stretch out towards the Solomon Islands. There are numerous secluded and protected anchorages for all weather conditions and many stunning ideal beaches that would suite the super yacht owner. The marine life biodiversity within the coral triangle and remanets of wrecks from the Second World War also add an element of interest. The people live simple lives, in thatched huts in many of the islands, sailing and paddling on canoes and coexists between their traditional culture and modern day society.
